As Circle Group celebrates their first year anniversary at TEC, we spent time with CEO, Kyri Anastasi, to discuss why he chose TEC and how the business is expanding into Europe and into robotics.
You may not be aware that Circle Group’s suite at TEC includes both an office and a control room that’s monitoring security for industry and warehouses 24/7. Packed with surveillance equipment, it’s the perfect venue as Kyri explains.
“We were keen to be based somewhere with easy access to transport links, and where our team could have the ability to work all day, every day. TEC was the perfect solution for us. Not only is it a great, cost-effective building, with lots parking spaces, charging points and the ability to park our pool car. We also get the internet bandwidth we need to run our control room, and TEC gives us the flexibility we need, for example, to hire onsite meeting space for client meetings or to expand into a new office, if needed.
It’s been a good year for us. Kryi explained over a meeting in Theo’s. “We moved into the offices at TEC and established a base in Europe. We’re expanding rapidly, and being able to service customers across Europe has opened up so many opportunities. Our first contract is providing security and logistics to premises in the Netherlands for our UK client and there’s more on the horizon.”
And if you see a robotic dog around TEC, look to Circle Group to learn more. “We’re exploring AI and robotics in order to deliver a better, and safer, service to our customers. One solution is to pair a human security guard with a robot dog. We’re still in the trial stages but initial results show that this is a great solution.”
