Have you heard about VOW Nutrition? It’s a company born and raised in Hoddesdon that is a proud UK manufacturer of licensed protein and sports nutrition for professional and amateur athletes. VOW Nutrition called our Theobalds Enterprise Centre (TEC) their home for three years until their ongoing growth prompted a move.
VOW is our most recent graduate and we’re so excited to share the story of Simon Stevens, the former ranked 200m runner, who fuelled his business to exponential success.
Nutrition for elite athletes and sportspeople through natural supplements
Founded in 2019 by British Natural Bodybuilding Champion and former track athlete Simon Stevens, VOW Nutrition began with one simple belief, that athletes deserve better.
Simon made a vow to develop natural products specifically to meet the demands of serious athletes. Today, the range includes gummies, chews, powders, protein bars and equipment, with new products in development.
Over the past few years, VOW Nutrition powered Team GB athletes at the Paris Olympics after becoming the first ever approved nutrition supplier, fuelled boxers and rugby players, and today is chosen by athletes, bodybuilders and gym-goers across the UK.
And stop press news, Simon is about to announce a partnership with the Professional Footballers Association (watch this space!).
From TEC to the premier league
VOW Nutrition was one of the first tenants to move into the TEC business hub when it officially opened in November 2023 and over the past three years, has benefitted from all that our centre offers.
“TEC supplied everything that I needed for my growing business. From ample parking, a useful location with nearby motorways and easy access to London, and fast WIFI. I made regular use of the meeting space and coffee shop – even holding high level talks with high street retailers over a cup of coffee in that space. Even they were impressed with TEC!
My top floor office was filled with natural daylight and a key benefit was the opportunity to brand my office, even installing a fridge to store product. I hosted numerous athletes at TEC to promote the VOW range and ultimately, seal promotional deals. I am sad to leave the friendly team but I’ve outgrown the space; my new home boasts an on-site pick and pack warehouse and gym, all beneficial as I move into the next phase of growth, which includes working with the national footballer’s union, the PFA.”
The whole TEC team fully supports Simon’s move to new premises and are excited to watch how his business will continue to grow into the future.
